  • Business is booming at RGS

    Yorkshire “success story” Rogers Geotechnical Services (RGS) Ltd is reporting strong trading figures from January to June 2015 and projecting a 30 per cent growth annually. The family-run business – which last year marked “a decade of drilling” – continues to build its business following global recession and now employs 22 members of staff; an increase of three from last year.     RGS have won the Business of the Month Award run by Huddersfield law firm Eaton Smith. Andrew Sugden, of Eaton Smith, presented the award to Emma Lewis, Nick Wilding and Imran Sakoor, of RGS, at Eaton Smith’s High Street offices. The Business of the Month Award is run by Eaton Smith in association with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and UKTI. It is open to firms in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.   • 2014 Investment in RGS Laboratory

    2014 has seen significant investment in our in-house soils labaoratory, which offers a range of geoetchnical testing internally to RGS clients who use our fully interpretive ground investigation service from fieldworks through to reporting, and externally to clients who come directly to our lab for testing services.  We will shortly also be offering the facility for external consutlants to log their own samples in our dry indoor logging area.  We are also seeking UKAS accreditation.
